SS Ball Valve

A stainless steel (SS) ball valve is a robust and versatile valve used for controlling the flow of fluids in industrial, commercial, and residential applications. The valve's construction typically includes a spherical ball with a hole bored through the center, which rotates within a durable stainless steel housing. When the handle is turned 90 degrees, the ball rotates to either align the hole with the flow path for unrestricted flow or to block the flow entirely by positioning the hole perpendicular to the flow path.

SS ball valves are valued for their corrosion resistance, making them suitable for use with a wide range of liquids and gases, including corrosive substances and environments where cleanliness and hygiene are crucial, such as in pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and chemical industries. They are available in various configurations, including two-way (shut-off) and multi-port (diverter) designs, allowing for precise control of flow direction and distribution.

These valves are easy to operate, requiring only a quarter turn of the handle to open or close, and they provide a reliable seal when closed, minimizing leakage. Their durability, low maintenance requirements, and compatibility with high-pressure and high-temperature environments make stainless steel ball valves a preferred choice for critical applications where safety, reliability, and performance are paramount.
